A wins a win, sounds like we missed a few chances to put it away earlier.

Spalding win with the last kick of the game, lucky bastards. But nearly dropping points to Sleaford of all teams perhaps shows they're slightly vulnerable.

Buckby without a doubt the worst team I've seen this season. They might do better if they stopped arguing with anyone and everyone and started playing.

Seriously? I wasn't there so I can't comment, but we've played some poor teams this season and at least LB only conceded 1 against us.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:Buckby without a doubt the worst team I've seen this season. Yep. No idea and they were playing for a draw from the start. They only made it look like a contest because we couldn't get the second goal.

Not the best performance of the season by a long way, but then we played much better than last night in 3 recent games & got a total of 2 points from all 3, so poor game but 3 points is ok isn`t it :?: During the long run last season we had to grind out a few poor 1-0 wins so another good sign maybe. Another game we could and should have been 3 up by half time and out of sight, the 2 chances they had in 2nd half came from a lucky deflection and a hand ball, so a comfortable 1-0 if such a thing exists. Not sure i`d describe Buckby as the worst this season but they didn`t offer a great deal. Nat did go on one of his long straight line runs, sadly though he we pointing in slightly the wrong direction when he set off so after 50yds ran out of pitch  Thought our other left back did ok for them at right back.
But the star for them was the clown wearing No 8, winged all game, in between making numerous and explicit threats to various players, had enough kick & flicks in him to get a 7 from Len, then following a gentle tap on the back of the neck from Brad (done purely as a form of greeting), he hits the ground so hard we are all looking round for the sniper  He then proceeds to jump up and run around looking for someone to square up to, ends up facing Dunks and at 5`7" in his high heels I`m thinking very brave or just plain stupid. At which point having come to the realisation that Brad is still on the pitch and will remain so, he launches a barrage of verbal abuse directly at the Ref, who not for the first time during the game bottled it & chose to tell him to stop being a naughty boy.
All in all very forgettable but another 3 points, on a night when Spalding came within seconds of dropping points to Sleaford.

That would be the every so shy and retiring Wes Emery who had so little to say on the Nat situation on twitter!
1-0 that will do, Long Buckby reminded me of Huntingdon in their style of play, except without the skill of Huntingdon!
