Re: King
Hopefully these signings will be the kick up the arse King needs to start producing. Considering we've won two games without him, I hope he doesn't get back in the starting line-up until he shows something good off the bench. If he still doesn't produce then can we swap him for Freshwater at Eynesbury?!
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Re: King
Kingy wants to a) play and b) win, a lot more than most players. He's been the same ever since the age of 12. And I think that's something we should be encouraging. He can be outspoken, and have a moan (I faced the brunt of many of these ;) ) but Starms know's that - he's been involved in Kingys development for over 6 years and will definitely be able to manage him through it. I trust this will all blow over.
Re: King
I agree he may want to but sadly in recent games if things are not going to plan it appears his head is one of the first to drop as well as his effort levels. Though hope your right & as I said earlier it's something of nothing.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Kingy wants to a) play and b) win, a lot more than most players.
Re: King
That's if he's willing to be a substitute, which tbh I doubt he'd be too happy at, wouldn't be surprised he doesn't stay around for much longer.Bob's Bitch wrote:Hopefully these signings will be the kick up the arse King needs to start producing. Re: King
Lets hope he can fight for his place and if he feels the club are looking to replace him he should try and prove otherwise. The lad has the attributes lets hope he can use them to full effectOlly wrote:That's if he's willing to be a substitute, which tbh I doubt he'd be too happy at, wouldn't be surprised he doesn't stay around for much longer.Bob's Bitch wrote:Hopefully these signings will be the kick up the arse King needs to start producing. Re: King
Shortly after Kingy came back from his injury, a player (I forget who) joked with him that he'd be on the bench.. to which Kingy said " I don't do the bench "
I think most of us thought it was Kingy having a laugh, but now I'm not so sure.
I hope he stays to be honest, yes he can be frustrating to watch at times, but there's no doubting he has the potential to be a quality footballer.

Re: King
King's ability isn't in question, never has been. On his day he's terrific, its his effort and attitude that has been questioned by many.
Hopefully he'll decide to roll up his sleeves and win his place back and show us what he can really do, if he decides to quit and run I guess he's answering his own question that he posed on Twitter many weeks ago - "why am I playing at this level?" eh?
The new signings look good ones to me, certainly strengthens the squad.
I hear on other threads that ex-players are bleating about all sorts of things, well think on, they are EX-players and just mischief making, their opinion counts for nothing frankly. Remember, they are EX for a reason !!

To be fair Brownie, it always went to plan back in the glory days - maybe it's all new for him?Brownie wrote:I agree he may want to but sadly in recent games if things are not going to plan it appears his head is one of the first to drop as well as his effort levels.
