It is mighty cold, but, I would rather be here than at home watching the 'friendly'.

My god that was cold !!

Big 3 points in the end with Yaxley hitting the post - delighted with that, especially after Saturdays effort, must have been some tired legs out there tonight. I though Alfie's work rate was first class tonight.

The build up play and execution for Matty's goal was fantastic and we just kept plugging away.

Delighted with that result - the lads did us proud once again :)

Yeah bloody freezing, but they had a nice new and warm clubhouse with the England game on for a large portion of the crowd to warm up a bit at halftime.

I wasn't too worried when Dunks' name wasn't read out, I've been looking forward to seeing what we can do without him and as I thought, we're still a good side and manage to play some good football even without him and it was a good win tonight against one of the strongest teams in the league. Bunting's pass for Gearing's goal was superb, he looks like a hell of a player for this level, I thought most of the team had a good game as well. Still think 2nd place isn't completely out of reach this season.

Man, it was cold.

I thought overall we deserved the win, we created a few more chances than Yaxley and looked just that bit better.

I did think it funny that their 10 and 11 spent the last twenty minutes within five yards of the ref telling him what to do.

They must hate us though, two visits two winners with late goals.

Most important thing was 3 points, very good first 20/30 mins and again could have been 2/3 up, over the 90 mins were we any better than in the Huntingdon or PNS games possibly not other than in respect of the points gained. Yaxley are a decent side who will probably finish in top 5/6 & will take points of others near the top, so a good result. Lads were starting to look tired in the final 1/4 but to be expected after last 7 days. Thought both the new boys looked good again, Faz looks like he needs a rest, not firing on all cylinders & hasn`t been for a while and we may well need him at his best later in the season, his game and statue possibly not suited to muddy, heavy winter pitches. Dunks officially had his mid season break last night, and looked a burger, pint and 2 coffees better for it, so hopefully the 2nd half of his season will start on Sat.
Looks like Jamal`s ban`s are S&L, Buckby, Pagnell and the Vase, so hopefully Deaks can slot back in, and Biff the new not so attractive assistant Physio can keep the old war horse at the back in shape.
