Don't think it's been confirmed 100% has it?

No, but we wouldn't expect anything official at this hour, seems pretty clear cut though.

Bloody hell

Though can't say I'm disappointed that arguably the strongest team in the competition are going out ;)

Wow. That is a real shock.
Player signed from K*ttering was ineligible
They could be docked points also. Now that might open the league up a bit.

Latest tweet "no one should be pleased, it's non footballing reasons that stopped them"

Surely an ineligible player is footballing reasons is it not?

He hasn't played for them in a league game - just an unused sub - so no chance of that.

He's registered to play for them in the UCL according to the FA Full Time site and was previously a K*ttering Town player.

Though K*ttering can't remember him playing for them in last 18 months it's alleged  still the amount of players they have had in that time possibly no surprise.
You would have thought Spalding would be ultra cautious over issues like this, having missed out on promotion last season after a points deduction.

I saw reference on twitter to the lad in question being known under two different surnames. I wonder if this may have contributed to his registration problem?

I wonder if Pat Payment has deleted the Tulips Club Secretary from his Christmas card list? ;)
