1,000 crowd maybe? Or am I being too optimistic? I'd like to think we could get 700 minimum.
Think we could get close. If we carry on the winning run over Christmas & Spending Utd drop some points interest will be on the up & we will hopefully see some more of the old faces from NP. I'll go for 800 - 850 unless they bring 150 + & it's a sunny day then who knows the big 1000 :?:

St Andrews are the latest club to be deducted 3 points for playing an ineligible player, against Radcliffe Olympic on 20th November.

Get to the quarters or semis and then our first 1000 crowd will come (especially if we draw someone like Spennymoor at home who would bring 400/500 away fans), but I think this one will be a bit short of it. Though, I think we'll have an extra 100 on top of the GSP crowd with it being the last 32, so 650 home fans plus 150/200 away fans maybe, so we may just get our highest home crowd to date for this one.

Popped along to Graham st prims last night to check out St. Andrews, (diamonds contingent tripled the crowd, inc Peaksey casting his eye over them) St. Andrews looked decent for the first 30 mins and should have been 3 up, eventually lost 4-2. They will be organised, up for it, if we play to out best we should have enough to progress but we shouldn't be complacent.

Letting 4 against GSP? I know its different in the cup but we should cruise past these surely?

Maybe they have a step 2 defender who was missing Tue night, but will be back to keep Dunks in check come 18th Jan :P
Can't be complacent or over confident but like you I would be seriously p s ed of if we are not in the last 16.

I'd hope the players don't have this attitude, they're not in the 4th round of the competition for no reason, I mean don't get me wrong, I certainly don't expect us not to beat them, but at the same time, I don't think it'll be easy and if we do what we did against GSP and not get an early goal and let them into the game, then it'll be close.

I have just been looking on the FA website to see if there was any news on Moneyfields and Bitton. There wasn't.

But what I did notice was that most of the scheduled 4th round replay dates are the following Saturday. Ours would be Tuesday 21st.

I am wondering does the extra time rule in the first match still apply at this stage of the competition?

Yes extra time in first game applies up to the Semi-Finals, though in all games up to Semi`s if both teams agree and advise the Ref they can opt to take pens at end of extra time in first game and not have a replay.
All replays should be played by following Thursday up to and including round 3, with possible exceptions for a visit the Channel Islands, after that you have till following weekend, no doubt this is to allow for greater traveling distances. Presume as St Andrews to D&D is probably less than some of our longer league journeys the Clubs have agreed on Tue. Though hopefully this will not be required as could do with players having no games that week so everyone is fit and ready for the visit of Fat Pat & his Spending Utd Step 2 Eleven (for 18mins anyway)

Thank you Brownie for that info.

I think playing replays the following Saturday is a very good idea if the distance is considerable, and maybe even a good idea anyway as it will certainly increase the gates if played on a Saturday.

As the weather so far this season has been good clubs would not have to worry too much about fixture backlogs.

Cant see any teams agreeing to a penalty shoot out at the end of the first game at this stage of the competition.
