Felt it only correct to wish our dear friend Pat Payment all the best as I assume he will be competing in Wigan today, as that's where they are holding this years " World pie eating championship "
Not sure how true it is but allegedly he was interviewed by a local paper and had very little nice to say about the favourite Mr M Muncher of Manchester & claimed he had regularly eaten pies at a much higher level than any of the other competitors.

Anyone know how Pat Payment got on yesterday? can`t find the results of World Pie Eating Championship anywhere, not even in The Northerner Blog yet, though looks like he would have been up against some stern opposition (should be used to that this week) looking at last years winner, who should be advised it`s not cleaver to look that pleased with yourself having just eaten your entire family.
