MATCH OFF v Wellingborough Town
Re: MATCH OFF v Wellingborough Town
Well I would have said it was a minor miracle if we had got all 3 games over the festive period on, but from a financial point of view, this was undoubtedly the one we didn't want postponed, so yet again we've been denied our big home derby day (like Whitworths last year), hopefully a chance they'll reschedule it for Easter Saturday? Cause it would be a disaster if we ended up playing it on a Tuesday night with Champions League on the telly, we could end up getting 300/400 less than what we would have done :(

Not at all surprised , the lads done well to get the game on for Saturday, have had a Newport Pagnell player helping his father with some plastering around my house , and he said he would be very surprised if S and L was on . His game there was postponed last weekend

That is a real bummer. Supersubs last chance to watch her team before she jets off on Sunday to her new life in Thailand. :(
Best wishes from us all Supersub! Safe journey. 8-)

Boo! I hate the English weather! Was really looking forward to the game as well, since I haven't been able to get to one since the Newport Pagnell game.

Re: MATCH OFF v Wellingborough Town
I bet the Welly management sneaked out during the night and watered the pitch whilst it was pouring hard!!
I am really disappointed as I was bringing a couple of friends along and I was looking forward to a bumper crowd.
The weather forecast for tomorrow is pretty grim so I hope Corby game is not called off also.
Maybe that nice man at UCL Fixtures will be able to reschedule for a SATURDAY in March or April, but not on a date that is an FA Vase date or it will have to be postponed again.

Can't see the S & L game being on if this rain persists as their Occupation Road ground seems to succumb to the weather on a regular basis and must have poor sub-soil.
I only live just over 3 miles from the ground so will probably have a peek at their pitch on Friday.
