Brilliant to see Hart Family Brewers sponsoring the match. Means that Rob and Sarah won't have to work in the brewery on Saturday afternoon. Great work.

Hope Deaks is able to play but we also have Henderson.
I would like to see us revert to the very successful early season line up of Faz, Dunks, Alfie and Matty.
and a midfield duo of Bunting (if fit) and Mac Bride.
Not this game, but would like also to see Adam Whybrow given a chance soon. I know he is not our player long term but he certainly deserves a game or two.....for his patience alone!

Not sure why he wasn't available but if he had of been there for the Wulfrunians game he would have got a start. 8-)sussexdiamond wrote:Hope Deaks is able to play but we also have Henderson.

His Dad told me he was available but just wasn't selected and that he was totally gutted because he would of got his chance that day!!TheIncognitoKid wrote:Not sure why he wasn't available but if he had of been there for the Wulfrunians game he would have got a start. 8-)sussexdiamond wrote:Hope Deaks is able to play but we also have Henderson.

Re: [ Sat 25th Jan ] v Spalding United, MATCH OFF
I think we were quite lucky this game didn't go ahead. Had it done so the arrival of the storm before half-time would not only have caused the game to be abandoned, there would have been a lot of very wet people trying to shelter from the thunder and lightning which arrived with little warning.
I went to Kempston and the pitch was fine for the first half, but totally unplayable after 10 minutes of the storm. The Doughboys had been a class better than Kempston, and were unlucky the game was abandoned - although they did have a freak own goal to help, and their leading striker should have seen a red card along with a Kempston defender after a proper "more-than-handbags" punch-up. The ref was the one we had against Boston at the D&D who seem to get confused by the incident in front of the dugouts, and he had the same problem in this game.
