A while back we held a vote to find the all time Diamonds player which was won by Paul Underwood.
Now we're going to attempt to find the all time best XI. We've had a few threads about this over the past few years with people proposing their own teams but this time we're going to make it official. Over the course of 8 weeks we will be filling in the places available in our team with those we vote for. The categories will be split 8 ways as follows:
Goakeeper
Right Back
Left Back
Centre Back (will provide two players)
Left Midfield
Right Midfield
Central Midfield (will provide two players)
Strikers (will provide two players)
To make it easier and keep the rigidity of the awards we will be operating the team to a strict 4-4-2 formation, it is the most used formation in our history and will give a team that reflects our best players.

Starting on the 2nd of January will be the Goalkeepers vote and weekly from then we will vote for the positions working forwards to the strikers till 8 weeks later we can announce an all time Diamonds XI.
If anyone has any questions about the process please PM me, this thread is not for nominations it's just an announcement. I shall be PM'ing a couple of those who have more experience following the team and have been more involved in the site to help me sort out the nominations.
