Would it be possible to play tomorrow's game on the 3G pitch.

Not having seen the U21s play over there I'm not sure what the logistical problems would be assuming of course that the UCL would sanction such a switch

You're talking about getting 4-500 round an astrotuf pitch that has no barrier, no turnstyles, presumably no catering facilities, not to mention car parking issues. Then there's the ground grading issue and I'd be shocked if it was graded to UCL standard given there's presumably a lack of any seating or proper terracing of any sort.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Other than that, would the be any problems??
Assuming tomorrow`s game is lost, we will now have 1 Tue game to fit in I think and all rest can be played on Saturdays other than Welly on the Bank Holiday, so no major problems as yet other than we are all getting p..s.d off with no football. Could be helping us as presume any injuries are now sorted, and Huntingdon have more league games to play + still in cup. So unless UCL play Prize Plonkers and extend season like last year, some Clubs will have to do what we did for most of Sept, Oct & Nov and play twice a week.

From a personal point of view, and you could have read about it in my programme notes for tomorrows game, before it was postponed, I would advocate a 3G or 4G pitch for our use, as it would be good up to Conference standard.

It could be used all year round, bringing in much needed income. 8-)

I was just looking at league table and how astonishing that Long Buckby only have 6 games to play in 3 months!! Huntingdon still have 16 to play.

Another useless thought....if we had beaten St Andrews we would now be facing a match next week with no game between rounds.

I'd be surprised, they posted a picture on Facebook with standing water on the pitch. Shame that was going to be my choice
