I wonder who the other person was.
I wonder when this all came to light - relative to the timescale of his later involvement at R&DFC.
The odd thing is that there was no real need for insider information - it was common knowledge the Weymouth side would be under-strength for quite a while before the bookies got their acts together.

Anybody remember during one of the final fans' forums when an older fan lambasted KC for the decision to enter into any dealings with Calder? Calder was in fact sat a couple of rows behind (or in front, the memory plays tricks) and heard the whole thing. Brilliant moment.

Yes I remember that moment. I also remember rattling KC by keeping on putting my hand up to ask a question, after the third question, he announced only three questions per person. That was fine by me, I just asked people round me to ask my next questions. He didn't like it. Gosh I wish I could bump into him in Thailand!!! I'd ask another question! SS
