Back at the Dog and Duck for UCL prem action for first time in 8 weeks.

My preview on is on the Radio Diamonds website....hoping for repeat of the excellent attitude and approach to the away game. Potentially tricky opponenets we'll have to be on our game...

1 - 1 at half-time. Koriya with a tap in after 24 minutes from a great cross from substitute (!) Alfie Taylor. Then Treacher with a late 44 minute equalizer.

Solid performance all round and in the end a comfortable victory. Should have been further ahead at half time and let them back in it by not taking our chances. Couldn't see the foul for the penalty and Henderson got a deserved goal who was my MOM. Improved performances from Ling, Koriya and Taylor and hope Bunts and Dunks aren't out for too long. Holbeach have to go down as the dirtiest team to visit the dog and duck this season and I think Treatcher was doing his best to get himself sent off and maybe should have been for his late challenge on Finlay

Yeah Holbeach were a bunch of whining thugs, much like 2 weeks ago, what on earth were they moaning about after Ling was brought down for the obvious penalty :roll:

Similar game to the reverse fixture, we made hard work of it at times, but in the end deserved the 3 points after a decent performance.

I would have to say fair play to them and somewhat hope they win it. They deserved their victory over us. Did Wisbech lose?

Yeah, fair play to them, they've now beaten 3 very strong step 5 teams including ourselves and now get to go into a 2 legged semi final to play for Wembley and if they manage to go one step further, they'd fully deserve it considering who they've had to beat. Wisbech lost at Sholing.
