UCL U21's league
UCL U21's league
I see the UCL are launching an under 21 league from next season, is that to replace the present reserves league?
Will we be moving our U21 to this or do we still have the same problem with where they play ie not at the D&D?

I believe that the Midland Combination is merging/being taken over by the Midland Alliance, not sure if that will result in their U21 division being dropped or perhaps strengthened.

The Reserve League will still be running I think.

Re: UCL U21's league
The FA are pushing the U21's leagues around the country.
The UCL are leading the way in forming an U21's league.
Personally I think it will be a good thing, with clubs losing their reserve and U18's teams

I see K#ttering Town FC have applied to enter a team into the UCL U21 league.

K*ttering have announced Mitch Austin formerly of Bugbrooke 'A'; Woodford and Bugbrooke ressies as their U21 manager.

Re: UCL U21's league
I suppose that depends on whether our club applies to join this new league and resigns from their current U21 league and plays at the Dog & Duck. Don't forget Wellingborough Town dropped their reserve team because they were unable to play on Saturday afternoons at the Dog & Duck after our ground share arrangement. Maybe our U21's will continue to play their home matches on the 3G pitch at Raunds Manor School next season.James Beil wrote:Does this mean we could get to watch the Ploppies at the D&D? Can't wait!
