Re: Another defender signs
These dual registrations. Does that mean he could play for us 1 week, then the next, Stamford?

Yes. I imagine if we played in the morning, he could play for them in the afternoon ;)

I can only imagine that's come from Tuesday night when one of the smallest players on the pitch scored two headers against us.

Have we seen the last of Ryan Walker and Deaks? Jamal has been injured since the FA Vase Tie. Will he still be with the club next season? How long can Parky keep performing?

Re: Another defender signs
His name seems familiar somehow. I expect now Malone has gone Stamford from Corby Ashton needs to look for football elsewhere. He's a left sided defender according to the Daniels site and at 23 a good prospect. I'd like to see him line up with Walker or Henderson at centre half.

Re: Another defender signs
Molly Malone is a very good defender and is physically very strong and excellent in the opponents box on set pieces in a similar vein to Deaks. Local Corby lad he won the UCL Premier title with S&L Corby a few seasons back when he was very young. I would love to see him play for us in the future but I guess other local clubs may seem a better attraction to him, from a financial point of view, at the present time.Three of Diamonds wrote: I expect now Malone has gone Stamford from Corby Ashton needs to look for football elsewhere.

Re: Another defender signs
Malone now confirmed as a Stamford player.

Does that mean that Jack Ashton will be surplus to requirements with the Daniels and will we see Ryan Walker again? Both these players have been playing on a regular basis up to the last week or so. I guess Peaksie has a good relationship with David Staff.

Re: Another defender signs
I was wondering if Stamford wanted Walker to play for them and so let us have Ashton instead. Happy with either to be honest.Trek wrote:Does that mean that Jack Ashton will be surplus to requirements with the Daniels and will we see Ryan Walker again?

Re: Another defender signs
If I had to choose I would go for Ashton, seemed a lot more vocal and his lack of height doesn't seem to be problem with his aerial abilitySouthRushdenJFC wrote:I was wondering if Stamford wanted Walker to play for them and so let us have Ashton instead.
