I understand it could be still be subject to change, from what I have been told today, despite it being listed on the FA Full-Time site as a Tuesday fixture.

I notice Long Buckby have only one more game left to play, with 5 weeks of the season left.

Yeah and it is a bit annoying we'll have 2 free Saturdays in April as well, but credit where its due to the fixture compilers after the problems with fixture congestion of previous seasons, they scheduled plenty of games before the turn of the year, knowing of what the weather can do at that time of year and possibility of cup runs affecting things as well, though obviously only 36 games did help that.

Needless to say, there are the usual problems elsewhere around step 5, I notice in the NL, while West Auckland are 6th and 19 points behind the leaders, they also have 10 games in hand and I think something like 12 games still to be rescheduled, so technically they do have a chance of the title, but of course that depends on whether they'll be able to cope with the backlog.

I don't know how practical this might be, but would it be possible to contact some of the other clubs who've long barren periods and try and organise a few friendly games? No sense letting the grass grow long at the D&D or other stadia around the UCL when there's teams who are free to play.

Think the players may need a bit of a rest after the season as they'll have played about 50 games by the end of it
