Spalding do not already have the required ground grading for Step 4. They still have some work to do before the end of March deadline in order to qualify.
Spalding are now reporting they passed the ground grading inspection prior to Saturday's game - http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/spaldingu ... 85492.html

I don't feel convinced that Spalding are wanting to go up, even if they win the league. They are not prepared for a return to their previous level and are wary of another relegation and what that will do to the club. And another thing, they do not have the support to carry them up a level.
I think ourselves and Huntingdon are more suited to promotion, with only us having applied along with Spalding. :?:
This was put out the other week, suggesting Spalding were in it, to be top of their rivals and no ambition to look at long term stability.
Are we in with a realistic opportunity for promotion ?

Thanks Paul, but it did take a lot of hard work 8-)

Thanks to some great work by our Darren and Paul and Ray from Wellingborough. (respect where respect due) 8-)

The best quote from the FA representative was "This looks like a proper Football ground" 8-)
