FA Vase finalists

Post by sussexdiamond »

They who can not be named lost today 1-2 to West Auckland.

And my other hope for the final Eastbourne Utd lost 2-4. They went 3-0 down but pulled back to 2-3 before Sholing clinched it 3 mins from time.
If we are to be in the UCL again next season we can look forward to another Vase run.

Well it was going to come to an end eventually, I'm sure the would have rather it ended at Wembley with the trophy in their hands, but really well done to them for a brilliant cup run - I'm secretly hoping we get drawn against them next season so we can have a bit of revenge!

Better luck next year!

It all kicked off at Canal Street, pitch invasion when West Auckland scored the winner, drunken yobs from County Durham facing up to the locals, 10 cars of Leicester's Boys in Blue complete with Helicopter after the match. Happy days. :o
