Two points lost or a point gained?
Two points lost or a point gained?
Was struggling to work out how to see this result after full time.
Considering we were not at our best, and against a team challenging for the title, I'm swaying towards a point gained. It's not as if we were leading for ages, or let in a late goal.
Was gutted with the way we gave away the equaliser though.
I said to my brother before the game that I thought this would be like the Cambridge game at home - we go 1 up after an hour or so, concede a few minutes later, final score 1-1. Wish I'd bloodyput my money where my mouth was.

Point gained for me. Didn't play well but still held off promotion chasers.

I'd say overall over the two games, it's two points lost. In both games, we have taken the lead, only to lose it. Could be costly.

Point gained for me, would have taken a draw before the game, would have liked three points, but at least we didnt lose the game.

Swaying towards a point gained, it was a poor goal to concede but I thought both teams were generally equal. Having said that, I'm still a little disappointed that we didn't get them back for the game at their place even if a point is far from the end of the world at the moment in terms of the table.
Big game on Saturday, although I think we just need to avoid defeat really and then it's off to beat K*ttering in midweek

Point gained. They were a decent side. We didn't play awfully but things didn't click in the front end of the pitch much at all, so the goal was always going to come from a set piece. Seemed to fall asleep a bit after scoring and they had much the better of the game after the goal, the equaliser spurring them on and not really making us wake up too much.
If we look back at the end of the season and miss out on the playoffs it is not results like this we should be looking at and thinking "if only", it's the Alty away (and for that matter home) and some of the early games like Salisbury where the side hadn't gelled yet and results weren't as good as they could, or possibly should, have been.

Having taken the lead its definately 2 points dropped, the only way Oxford would score was from a penalty or a cock up and it proved to be the latter.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not unhappy with a point, but having taken the lead its disappointing not to have won - we now appear to be involved in a little league of 5 teams - good innit
A win on Saturday is vital, back that up with a good beating of the scum and we'll be looking VERY strong.

Point gained, move on and beat AFCW, who are on a poor run of form at the moment. We won't win all of our games so keep the chins up guys.

Quite agreed. Need to look for wins in the next two away games. Both sides in poor form, both we can beat, both huge games that if we win gives us much more breathing space and would bring a much greater certainty of a playoff place.Sara Pascoe wrote:Point gained, move on and beat AFCW, who are on a poor run of form at the moment.
