Will we be getting our instructions soon on what needs to be done during the close season?
Any painting? I feel a " Banksy" mood coming on.

Re: Work on the Dog and Duck
Bob is coordinating this currently. There is some work to be done painting hospitality (outside walls/doors), and rubbing down/painting the pitch barrier.
I think there will be some set times/days when this is planned to be done over the next few weeks once we have the relevant paint etc to hand.
Pitch work is already in progress, and has been seeded/fertilised earlier in the week. The DeBanke Terrace was jetwashed last week, and the main stand is being painted in the morning.

Re: Work on the Dog and Duck
As Jon says, work has already begun.
Next week we will need volunteers for painting.
The two main areas are: 1) The hospitality suite and the toilet block on the decking. Only the white needs to be retouched.
2) The exposed pitch barriers need rubbing down and repainting.
The will be someone down at The D&D from monday to help co-ordinate and provide equipment.
We are waiting for Wellingborough to finish painting the main stand before we can take out and replace some of the seast. more on this at a later date.
If Mr Norman is reading this, I have rang the number you left and have left a message for you......thanks 8-)

Re: Work on the Dog and Duck
If you need any of the following Bob I`ve got a few tins/20ltr drums of them.
Magnolia masonry paint, will stick to and cover most things
Wood preserve in clear or green
Cuprinol floor care, for interior wood floors
Cuprinol woodworm killer
An odd combination I know but part of a deal from a local Arthur Daley.
