Ben Morgan
Re: Ben Morgan
Fair play to him to write such a great and professional letter, despite having spent so much of his time here on the bench, players like Liburd, King and Allen should take note of his attitude! Always a great player to have on the bench and very often was a good boost to the team when he came on, sad to see him go.

Re: Ben Morgan
What a fantastic way to sign off! Reading that made me smile and I also hope that he comes back in the future. Ben always gave 100%, even when he was only coming on the for the last few minutes of a game and I hope the younger players in the squad learned from that.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Re: Ben Morgan
So please stop bemoaning "what if" or "if only" when it comes to Alfie Taylor! Instead look at what he did do for the club and how much he cared each time he pulled on a shirt. [/quote]Dowlo wrote:[quote="(imagine if Alfie had Ben's attitude and work rate!)
Fair point Dowlo and maybe it was a bit cheap.
I don't want to hijack this thread, but a quick response half on topic.
Ben didn't start a lot of games. At Bugbrooke I believe he walked off without applauding the fans, annoyed he wasn't getting games.
He quickly cleared this up on twitter, continued to work hard and has done nothing but work hard for the club since then. He has been positive in every public communication.
If other players (and others besides Alfie have been mentioned) had adopted Ben's attitude when being dropped, then with their talent, they may well still be welcomed at the club.

Re: Ben Morgan
Every player wants to play, from 4 to over 40, and they want to play all game.
It's a fact of football life at this, still very low, level that players will move on to get a game.

You've either got class or you haven't - Ben's got it and is a truly lovely fella, I'm sorry to see him go and I'm confident he'll be welcomed back at the club in some capacity in the future. Good luck Ben !!Mat.H wrote:"You would think he had played for the club for 20 years"

Re: Ben Morgan
He's a complete cock who will drift around the local non league clubs as people will get fed up with his self absorbed attitude. He has unquestionable talent but will waste it because of a massive chip on his shoulder. Shame really :|Mat.H wrote:"You would think he had played for the club for 20 years"

Some very valid points from Dowlo and Drunken DeBanker. Struggle to disagree with any of those posts.
