Ben Morgan
Re: Ben Morgan
Thanks Ben, you have been very good for the club, unfortunately a club has to move on and you are no longer good enough, its time to say goodbye. I wish you luck for the future

Re: Ben Morgan
What a ridiculous post from Elvisgirl.
Ben Morgan very good player, when he played he scored!
Would have put him in over Alfie Taylor the whole of last season, would have scored more goals through work rate.
Best of luck.

Re: Ben Morgan
Best of luck to Ben a true club man and a player who always gave 110% when called upon. And there is no doubt he put in a lot of work last season with the U21's and will be a big loss to the club.Dowlo wrote:[quote="(imagine if Alfie had Ben's attitude and work rate!)
But I for one am f*cking sick to death of people moaning about Alfie Taylor. The bloke scored 50 goals for the club, loved the club and just because he wasn't over joyed about being dropped and having to play U21's people seem to slate his effort and commitment.
He went out on loan to BPW banged in a hatful of goals and found his form again, which is what I gather was the whole reason he was dropped in the first place (lack of form).
He obviously wanted to play football at a more competitive level than our U21's which is understandable for a player of his ability, and proven goal scoring record. Put yourself in his shoes you've scored 20+ goals so far in a season including ones against Dover and Cambridge City and suddenly you're being told if you want a game you have to play U21's.Wouldn't you be a bit hacked off?
Interesting that when Russell Dunkley was out injured he came straight back into the starting XI sporting what can only be described as fairly noticable beer belly (I'm fully aware I own one as well before anyone pipes up btw). Was he not asked to go play in the U21's to get his fitness back up and find some form? I doubt it. One rule for one, one rule for another it would seem.
So please stop bemoaning "what if" or "if only" when it comes to Alfie Taylor! Instead look at what he did do for the club and how much he cared each time he pulled on a shirt.
Perhaps some people at the club should look at themselves and say "if only" we'd handled the situation a bit better with regards his exit from the club. I for one think he deserved a lot better than what he got and what he is getting from some people on this forum. Why wasn't he at the presentation evening for starters? Lots of questions about the whole situation I doubt we'll never get answers for.
Anyway a few decent signings have been made so it's onwards and upwards, promotion is a must next season I feel.
Back to the original topic, all the best to Ben at his next club, our loss is his new clubs HUGE gain![/quote]
Top post fella. Too quick to moan about everybody without actually thinking things through.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.
