Special mention to Byrne and Farrell who were both quality tonight.

You know what i meant. Faz was quality tonight, but he isn't a goalscorer.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
1617 home fans tonight btw - not bad at all for a wednesday night, lets hope we can keep that up at home and keep those extras coming with another good home win against crawley.

He wont score whilst he's playing as a wide man in a front 3. Personally I think he's a better as an out and out centre forward and 4-4-2 would suit him better. His crosses have been quality from dead ball situations.
I don't think O'Connor has it in him personally. Admittedly he is in a poor run of form at the moment but for a man with his pace he doesn't take a player on enough.
Part of me thinks we should be looking for a striker in on loan before tomorrow nights deadline rather than a defender, but perhaps any loan signing we make now won't be up for the battle.
On a different note, it was 100% an own goal, i was sat right behind it. Great shot from Farrell though, the wall was totally useless.
Good spot about the loan striker Raz.
I don't agree about it being a 100% own goal though - looking at the SoccerX highlights it appears the ball was curling in, and the defender knocked it into the roof of the net from almost under his own crossbar. Mind you, the highlights on Diamonds Player don't give quite the same impression - and I guess that is from a similar angle you view from.
