Wes Thomas
Signs for us from 'Digger Dagger Digger Dagger Oi Oi Oi!'
He is a striker...
Just looked on wikipedia, says he is only 5 ft 2!
Played for Grays this season, started 8 games, scored 2.

Sure I'm not the only one thinking WTF?
I know forwards are not producing goals (he says after last weeks 8-0 and a 6-1 a few weeks previous) but does this mean Sam Smith is knocked even further down the pecking order???

Re: Wes Thomas
According to Sam Smiths father last night, the worst thing Sam ever did was sign a 3 year contract at RDFC.

Isn't Sam Smith's father a K*ttering fan...SCARECROW wrote:According to Sam Smiths father last night, the worst thing Sam ever did was sign a 3 year contract at RDFC.
The lad has great potential, and we saw what he can do last season. However, this season I can see the sense in sticking with more experienced players (although I would like to see Sam Smith get a couple of sub appearences every now and then).

I'd like to think that at this point in the season Sam could've been used a a fresh pair of legs, seeing as he's been used sparingly throughout the season. Obviously now with this new signing it buggers up that idea. I really hope we don't end up pissing Sam off, because as others have said, he's a great talent.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

All Sam has to do is walk into Edinburgh's office and ask for his contract to be terminated. He has a point, he's getting paid for training.SCARECROW wrote:According to Sam Smiths father last night, the worst thing Sam ever did was sign a 3 year contract at RDFC.
