Former Players
Re: Former Players
Most of the team were put on the transfer list, I suppose its to see if they get any offers rather than to get rid.STAGMAN wrote:I thought he was put on the transfer list rather than released

Re: Former Players
That's correct, Dmac was in a paddy wax when the Posh failed in the playoffs. Joe is still listed as a Squad player (No 13) on their OWSMat.H wrote:

Re: Former Players
According to Baz Fry its Posh policy to put all players in their last year of contract on the transfer list i.e. to try and cash in on them before they can leave for free at the end of the season. Joe is in his last year and if no one snaps him up they will either retain him at the end of the season or he will be able to leave on a free. Since he is under 24 a fee may be payable.

Though still think we missed a trick when we didn't keep Troy Johnston during 1st season, the other 3 IMO would not improve our present squad, with the possible exception of Alfie at his best but sadly we never got to see enough of that.
