Winning 2-0 with goals from Joe Merrill and James Harrison. Is this the same James Harrison that played for our U18's in our first season?

Now 3-0, another goal from Harrison following his first which was a 30 yard volley!

Yes, same James Harrison I believe. Tweet from him the other day about him "falling back in love with football again" or something. Good to see Merrill get some game time and score a cracking goal.

The guys scored four cracking goals, and given they have spent so little time together it was an impressive performance. Merrill ran the game from central midfield, and Dylan Wilson on the left wing looked a real prospect - his interchange with Harrison for the third goal was top notch, so he deserved to get on the scoresheet with the fourth goal.

Unfortunately he's taking up a place at Reading University so won't be available during term time after the end of September.

According to the U21's manager who I was chatting to this afternoon we had four 15 year old players in the team. Joe Merrill also played well at centre mid-field.
