And Ling even found the back of the net. Twice, according to the club's official Twitter feed. Well done to him & all the lads today, that's a great result.

Surely not, must be a typo

But seriously, well done to him and the team on a great result to end preseason against one of the better teams from the level above, roll on next Saturday!

It was certainly an odd game. We were under the cosh for the first 20 mins, and could easily have been 2 or 3 down, but then our forward players got the measure of the Rugby defence and we scored four quick goals, including a grass cutter free-kick from Greg Ling that really needed to be caught on video. Fazel scored two goals against his old club after missing an early chance, the first of which was one of his best for the club.

I still can't predict our starting XI for Saturday, especially with Joe Henderson having picked up a knock. Several players might be available for next Saturday who haven't seen any action for a fortnight or more, whereas others have played most of the PSFs recently, so it's going to be interesting to see who gets the nod.

Thought we were going to be in for a struggle judging by the first ten or so minutes.

We scored some cracking goals though. The Rugby defence seemed to be arguing between themselves at times!! Thought the officials made some questionable decisions.

Fair play to Rugby though, they played some nice stuff, and didn't give up.

But a great result for us none the less. :)

Great sign off from the pre-season games, now a week to recover before the serious business starts !!

Disappointed to have missed today - had to work sadly, i'll also miss our first 3 UCL games, but hopefully by the time I see us we'll have 9 points in the bag :)
