Who is your favourite current player & why?
Who is your favourite current player & why?
I was discussing this with a mate during the Gateshead game. In seasons past I could have easily picked out my favourite player in the side like Jacko or Burge. This season i'm having more difficulty as they all play for each other and play so well as a unit. Obviously there's Tommo, Osano and Dale who are all very popular but i've really warmed to Jamie Stuart, Mark Byrne, P*** T**** and Simon Downer. Like I said i'd struggle to name one! Just wanted to hear some other peoples opinions on this.

To be honest my favourite player never plays.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

Thats the one, he also scored one of the best three goals I've seen at home this season.Harry wrote:Pattison? One of my fav's too!rudolph_hucker wrote:To be honest my favourite player never plays.

Good question, cant say one for reasons youve added. Its a good team this season, not one that sort of stands out more than any of the others, they are all doing a good job. But one thing i would a teeny weeny bit like? ....err......a consistant goal scorer? you know what i mean, a sort of Ian Wright of Rushden now wouldnt that be something ha ha

Jamie Stuart. The passion and delight that he shows whenever we win is epic.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

I agree he gives his all in every game and I have never seem him lose a battle with an attacker.Sara Pascoe wrote:Jamie Stuart. The passion and delight that he shows whenever we win is epic.

I can see Lee Tomlin isn't your favourite player Sara, judging by your negative comments about him on the Conference Forum. It might be worth you reviewing the highlights of the Oxford game, as I don't think you'd be awarding him quite the same accolade for diving that you did to the conference public on there.Sara Pascoe wrote:Jamie Stuart.
