They'd have to commit to another 48 people going, and that's probably too much. Although I don't know if they have access to a double decker through the company they use? I think they're a 75 seater, which is probably too expensive.
tbh though i am sure we could have filled a 75 seater double decker so the club would of got the money back by people paying, now we are left with loads of dissappointed fans that cant travel. surely they want as many fans to go as possible to make a good atmosphere but theyre just stopping them
The supporters club have to book the coaches in advance, and often have little idea how likely they are to fill it. If they cancel a coach less than about 1 week before a game, they lose the deposit which is why they constantly ask for supporters to book as far in advance as possible. The supporters club loses a considerable amount of money every season as it's very rare that there are enough people on the coach to cover all of the costs of hiring it, so the likelyhood of them even breaking even by running 2 coaches, or a larger 75 seater are very slim. If fans suddenly decide in the week leading up to an away game that they want to travel to it, it's hardly the fault of the supporters club if there are no seats available.

Believe it or not, there is more than one way to travel to away games, so how about laying off the hardworking supporters who spend their free time organising away travel for the rest of us, when it was YOUR fault you can't make the game because YOU left it too late to book a seat.
Got to agree with you there. I know some people may not know until the last minute if they can away games or not due to work or family commitments etc however things have to be organised. If most people were to book a week in advance it would give the supporters a chance to decide if they need to book another coach or not  Its not really fair to expect them to be able to book a coach at the last minute just because a few people decide that they want to go at the last minute.

I understand the Alty coach was a long way from being full - and that was just a week ago - with the same price as the trip on Saturday, and with similar timings, so who would have predicted a full coach for this one ?
I am not going on the coach, but am far more inclined to go to Wimbledon.

Not that I'm a comfort fan, I do some long ones, but Wimbledon is far more appealing in my opinion. Closer, better quality of match, more on the match etc. I am going to every match from now to the run in. So excited about all of them!!

Can I just say I know it was my fault for leaving it too late, I have travelled on the coach twice before and never alone as I went with my uncle who organised it. This is why I have got my timing wrong and have learnt my lesson for next time  :)

I did not know any of this and so and I agree we would not fill a second coach, and probably won't fill one coach for most away games

As for the score, I think this is a game we could do with winning but I'm not too sure. I'll go for 2~1 to us with Thomas and Porter to score, & I would be delighted if that happened

1-0 win if Downer plays. 2-1 defeat if he doesn't.

Absolutely spot on Dave, no one on the Trust Travel has a crystal ball (that I've seen anyway ;) ). I knew it was going to be a late decision for me and accept it's too bad if I don't get on the coach. That's the way it goes, you win some, you lose some.
