She's a little star - her enthusiasm and love for the team (especially her main man Faz) is brilliant!!diamondgeezer1 wrote:Special mention has to go to Ellie, who I'm sure everyone knows!!
Her non-stop encouraging for the lads, had many of us in stitches

Can we stop whinging about the bloody attendances please.
They are what they are and instead of coming on here moaning start getting people along, especially after today's report into match day prices.

Wasn't whinging or moaning at all, just voicing disappointment that the numbers through the gate over the past few games weren't as high as I hoped they would be based on our tremendous league position and the great results delivered recently - that's a fact, not whinging !! Lots of reasons why that is, but pretending it isn't disappointing is just avoiding the obvious - I agree with you about encouraging people to come along, sadly not that many people in Bedford are that interested, despite me bleating on about it to them. If debating it helps someone encourage just one extra person along I'll happily "whinge" each time we get a sub 400 crowd along.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:Can we stop whinging about the bloody attendances please.

Same as me, I wasn't moaning just voicing disappointment.

I don't think last nights attendance was a surprise, look at the desborough match last season it was almost the same. I think saturday attendances are down by about 50 or 60 from where we expected, I would be interested in why people think this is and more to the point what we can do to change that.
We have a community day on saturday with all the community players coming for photos, some being ball boys and weather permitting playing some mini football at half time which we hope will tempt a few along in future games.

That's the future. Imagine if every community player became a regular fan and brought along one parent.bozzer wrote: We have a community day on saturday with all the community players coming for photos, some being ball boys and weather permitting playing some mini football at half time which we hope will tempt a few along in future games.

We've got six homes games in a row this month, think that may be a big reason. People are picking and choosing which home games they can get to. I'd be disappointed if we don't have 600 versus Holbeach if we're still up there.
