Hi All,

Many thanks to the fans, the Strikers Bar Staff and especially the 7 or 8 players that came to this event, and also of course to all those that purchased horses or sponsored races for the event!
On the night, there were 8 races, a mixture of Flat and Jumps, with Race 7 being an on the night Auction Race - with a few of the horses going for over £20, after a few bidding wars.
Cockers came very close with his horse in that race, just losing out to Tim's Horse number 1 in the final stretch.
We raised in total around £600 for the Club, so a great effort!
The winning horse owners will receive their prize money over the next week or so as John gets hold of you.
Thanks once again to John Souster, and the rest of the fundraising team for organising the event (including getting all the sponsorships etc.. over the preceding weeks).
These events are always a fun night out, and hopefully we can add more to the crowd next time, as the more we get, the more money we can raise for the club.

Yes a good night,for all the family,looked like the players enjoyed themselves also,lets get a few more supporters down next time to raise some more money.
