No we are not, as Wisbech also have to play PNS at home (14/4) and (Cogenhoe) away 18/4 will not be easy

Yesterday was the first time this season I've missed a match and was unable to keep abreast of the score, I was busy and unable to keep checking in with Twitter or listen to Radio Diamonds. I looked on quickly at 1-1 but never once did I believe we'd lose or draw - I'm so confident now and I truly believe we can go and beat Wisbech next week - sure they're on an exceptional run, and having seen them recently can say they're a good side, but we've just started a run of our own - playing in our own backyard we deserve our arses kicked if we don't beat them - that will give us one hand on the title then, well, maybe 3 fingers ;)

We have to take the game to them next week and play at a high tempo - if we don't do that they are fully capable of beating us, that's how they beat Yaxley.

If we win, we then need to keep our eyes on the prize and not think the title is ours - win on Sat and then slip up elsewhere would be gutting. 8 games left - 8 wins please! I know promotion is the prize and always has been, but I want to do it in style to ram a few words down certain people's throats!!

Oh,and I can still see Holbeach having a roll to play - they may come out if their dip in time to beat Wisbech for us ;)

Why do people use the rolling of they eyes when the score ain't put up? The Twitter page is more than helpful and will tell you the score on there.. Or am I missing something

To be fair to diamondal, who I know, he probably doesn't use Twitter and Facebook and as Radio Diamonds is broadcast across the web, is most likely only to look on here for a score update (plus like me yesterday not everyone can listen when they may want to) people normally do pop something up on here during the game when the Internet connection allows.

Not everyone is as conversant with technology as you or I so cut people some slack eh? My 87 year old
Mum only knows how to access one website and that the one she's comfortable with using!

The one thing we do all have in common is a love for our team :)

It was a shame Thurnby got a late winner against Desborough yesterday, not only because of their threat towards our league position, but also as it took them to 100 league goals for the season, thus just pipping us to the century mark, as we went up to 98 for the season.

Was looking at their league position before the game and they've really pulled themselves into it. A couple of drawn matches for us and Wisbech, i.e. next week, would really give them a chance. Glad we don't have to play them again as they do seem to know where the net is. Our away defeat to them doesn't look so bad now
