Tommy Treacher actually looked like a decent player in the first half holding the ball up and make runs, after remembering all he did last season for Deeping and Holbeach was moan. But when they sensed they could win, he reverted to such poor tactics and feigning injury.

I just hope we get a set of officials for the KO Cup game that can handle the pressure. Both the ref and linesman had a perfect view of Treacher putting his hand in Jack Ashton's face after they'd both been booked earlier, yet chose to take no action. Similarly the #3 was able to follow up a challenge that could easily have seen red with another that was clearly worth a yellow.

To their credit they did allow for the time-wasting, "injury" delays, substitution delays and the time spent arguing with Treacher - and the "Treacher Time" did bite the Fenmen in the end.

No complaints about the Bunting booking - that's not the first time we've seen him make a howler and then follow it up with a bad challenge. I was half expecting we'd score from a corner only for it to be chalked off for Berwick fouling the keeper - we've scored plenty of goals from corners without needing to resort to that.

Like my dad said, Bunting can be his own worst enemy at times.

Treacher should have gone after he kicked Elliot near the end.

We've had that ref three times and I'd mark him 10. 3 for the first game, 4 for the second and 3 today.

Looking at today's point and the point at Holbeach they are now looking like results needed to achieve the ultimate game.

It wasn't a great game, it wasn't even a good game. But we got a point and ticked another game off.

As well as those other two games this season (Yaxley H, Sleaford H) he was also the ref when we drew 1-1 at Wisbech last season, sending off Aaron King after plenty of cajoling from the home side and officials. (He did also oversee our 6-0 win at Harborough at the end of last season when he could easily have sent off Matt Finlay following his Turley-esqe foray towards the corner flag).

the game lived up to expectancy, we never play well in big games at home. shame the visitors had to resort to time wasting , they could have won easily without doing that. in the end, the ref, for all his short comings, done the right thing and played time added on - maybe not enough? but we'd have settled for a draw at the start of the game.
come on you whites.
930 8-) hope we get 4figures for the trophy presentation :P

The crowd of 930 brings our average league attendance for this season up to 499 :D

And the crowds we get in the run in will take us over 500 I'm sure.

I don't see why Wisbech was diving and time wasting themselves so much and it cost them. Serve themselves right.

Is 930 are highest attendance? I think so, was Cambridge are previous highest attendance.

A 90th minute winner/equalizer is so much more sweeter. :D

Get in there. :D

Second highest after the 948 recorded against the Scottish side in the Vase last season.

Over average will improve. Expecting bumper gates against Wellingborough and Cogenhoe. Don't forget that the Boxing Day attendance for the abandoned match is not included in the current average.
