Some teams keep on swapping and changing (like a yo yo) from one moment to the next moment. Lol   :?
It's a real labour of love from the guy giving up his time to produce it. Peter Miller who produced one last season hasn't done one this year. It's going to change right up to the last match of the season and is very much 'unofficial and best guess' and until the FA have 'contemplated their navel' we won't be sure of our fate. Should know around the middle of May. ;)
Yea I know its done out of love of labour, which is nice. Very nice, (if you think I'm complaining, I'm not at all)

I think its quite funny and interesting all the swaps and changes, I keep looking at it then another moment its changed again.

I hope we stay in the Southern Central of which I think we will do. :D

I agree - I've enjoyed my time in the UCL, but I'm glad to be moving forward.

Trouble is, if we did get put in the more Northern league I think it could affect our crowds - fewer fans will travel due to the extra time and cost and I think that would ultimately affect our home gates - but for now I'm enjoying the moment - Tuesday should be a party!

We've still not got to take Sileby lightly, but we should win comfortably and I think these lads don't just want to win the league, they want to do it in the style of Champions, which is what we saw yesterday.

101 points is the target - that's what Peaksy wants and is what he will demand from the players - I mean, who wants to win the league with a defeat (like some I could mention ;) ).

To be Champions with games to spare would be a terrific achievement - I think we'll do it too :)

And our closest games in the NPL South would be Coalville and Spalding probably, or Stamford if they go down. Whereas in the SL Central we've got a few nice close games with Bedford, Rugby, Daventry and St Ives and then ones like Royston aren't too far either, so I'd certainly prefer to be put in the SL tbh.

The NPL South would be great for me, lots of local games - Sutton Coldfield Town, Stafford Rangers, Chasetown, Leek Town etc, but agree with the majority that it would be bad for the club with attendances and attracting the right players. Let's just wait and see, but i'd be very surprised if it wasn't SPLD1C.

I think we'll just have to wait and see what happens - is there any appeal process for us to go through if this were to happen?? I just wondered? I accept as we move up the leagues it'll become more National, but at Step 4 that seems a bit daft.

I'll take Step 4 football wherever, I'm just glad to be progressing, but it's stupid to put us in a Northern League - it'll certainly mean I'll go to fewer away games for sure due to work/the distance to travel and I'm sure a lot of others will think twice as well.

As it stands I'd probably get to most away games when working a Saturday morning - but if heading up north, not a chance :(

In case people don't realise, the people posting on there are not in a position of influence. It will be down to the FA Leagues Committee to decide.

There is also the news that Tividale are to appeal their demotion, and the news that there may be too few teams eligible to be reprieved in Step 4 so the likes of Runcorn Linnets may be promoted as well - which would help ease the pressure on finding enough Northern Clubs.

It does look like it will be a marginal decision, and vulnerable to other resignations etc between the committee decision and the League AGMs - which wont be ideal.

We've seen in past seasons some controversial decisions being made at this stage - e.g. Bishops Stortford being constrained to play in Conference North after R&DFC folded.

I reckon the average travelling distance in NPL1S will be around 77 miles, as opposed to 53 in SL1C and 32 in the UCL.

This is the problem, whatever the leagues committee decide next month, it can still change, so we won't know for sure until June.
