I hope it's not the NPL, it would probably restrict me to a couple of home games, certainly no aways for the whole season.

Re: Northern Premier League
Brigg Town have now also resigned from the league. Brigg are bottom by a long way, but I guess that rules out a possible reprieve for them.

I think that the bottom teams have to be relegated, although this could all change depending upon what the FA decide. Confusingly Brigg Town are now disputing they've resigned:BartonRaz wrote:Brigg Town have now also resigned from the league. According to the guys on Non League Matters as it currently stands, Daventry could be in the Northern Premier League Division One South, with us next in theory if another club resigns/folds:

It might be best to wait and let the dust settle (as well as maybe back Royston or Aylesbury to win the SLD1C playoff to reduce the chance of us moving north).

Re: Northern Premier League
I agree, let's just enjoy the moment and see what happens, it's Step 4 football whatever
Lots of twists and turns to come with clubs resigning, ground grading issues etc, then the lottery of the AGM season - we'll know soon enough!
For now, let's concentrate on becoming Champions ....... sounds good doesn't it?

Re: Northern Premier League
Tividale are on appeal, Stamford might come down, also if Stratford fail to win promotion, is Stratford another contender for Northern South league, (not sure) but they're close to Birmingham.
Why does it seem that its just the Southern Central that is losing out, I don't see why some of the Northern North league teams can't go into the Northern South league (like Goole, Ossett Town, Warrington etc)

The Evo Stick North Division One North is the most northerly step 4 league, so if you take teams from that league and put them in the Div One South who do you replace them with?updiamonds wrote: Why does it seem that its just the Southern Central that is losing out, I don't see why some of the Northern North league teams can't go into the Northern South league (like Goole, Ossett Town, Warrington etc)
