In others words, you'll have to retain the entire playing squad. :D :D :D

I look forward to reading your suggestions mate. Hopefully it'll be driven by ambition to see us be successful in the level up.

Here you go... EXCLUSIVE: Darren Purse
When Darren Purse was appointed AFC Rushden & Diamonds U18s / Malcolm Arnold Academy Head Coach, I’m not sure he knew what to expect – or even that he would walk out as a Rushden player.

But fast forward almost a year later, and he has already won his first managerial trophy – the U18 league title, and his team are in the final of the county cup.

I had a chat with him to find out how he feels his debut in management has gone and his managerial and playing future plans.

New Unsung Hero article is online.. Kay Gillespie this time.
It’s time to catch up with another of our ‘unsung heroes’ at the club.

Last time we met Catherine Rust, an 18-year-old volunteer who enjoys helping out around the club in multiple roles. You can find the link to this feature below.

However in this article, I will introduce you to another one of our hardworking volunteers, Kay Gillespie.

And here it is... https://bluewhitediamonds.wordpress.com/
So there we go, the end of an amazing season. 98 points and Champions of the United Counties Premier League scoring 121 league goals.

Jack Ashton collected the player of the year award before Saturday’s game against Cogenhoe but let’s have a look at some contenders of goal of the season.

You will be able to vote on a final three goals of the season at the presentation evening. So this is a bit of fun before the official vote on the night.

Ten videos embedded and a vote at the bottom. Remember this blog isn't associated with the club and therefore not the official vote.

Enjoy!

Don't miss this! An unofficial vote for goal of the season. I'm sure some of these will be included in the official vote on presentation evening though!

Next blog is up!

https://bluewhitediamonds.wordpress.com ... sambridge/
Volunteers often go unnoticed at football clubs so that’s why I am writing these features, so the heroes can get the recognition they deserve.

So far, I have introduced you to Catherine Rust and Kay Gillespie. Follow this link if you have missed either of these articles.

Today, I am introducing you to a vital volunteer which without him, we would lose our vital highlight package. Lee Sambridge uses his skills and expertise to help the cub. He is the driving force behind the highlights packages that appear on YouTube, a few days after the game.
Enjoy!

Final blog post of this season.

Please have a read. Thankyou to everyone who has already read and contributed so far, it's been greatly appreciated.
So the season has finished and what a season it has been.

For the U18s, it has been a very successful first season in partnership with the Malcolm Arnold Academy, as they won the league. Also, in the David Joyce Cup Final, Darren Purse’s boys ran Peterborough United close but subsequently lost 2-1.

I caught up with manager Purse to find out what is next for the scholars and to find out more about the additional U18 team.
