You must have forgotten the first ten minutes when the score could have been Whitworths 0 Scott Joseph 6.
Well I did say may have. What I was trying to point out is that Potton are going to have chances and must be prepared for that. I think the result will be close

Looking forward to this one! I hope we are all 'Up for the Cup'. ;)

Yaxley's ground will be the most visited by us in our three year stay in the UCL. This will be our 5th visit as a senior side.

As no news of Cup day from there I'll do my mid Atlantic report. Cup final day breakfast was taken and members of the hotel staff interviewed. It's a knock out was played & as nobody from Potton could be found they were represented by the Germans.
Game 1. "get the towels out early" was a Diamonds victory, for some reason the Potton team threw all theirs in the pool, well that's where they found them.
Game 2. Pool water polo aka death by drowning resulted in 1 from Diamonds & 2 representing Potton being dragged from the pool with water filled lungs.
So cup final it's a knock out. Diamonds 2 Potton 0.
So a large bag of Haribo has been shared around.
Now heavily engaged in usual pre match routine but lager instead of proper beer.

Anybody know how it went?
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

A comfortable victory in the end as Afc showed why they were a division above. Although Potton had a few half chances and a number of corners, there was only going to be one winner. Brilliant performances from Ashton, Confue, Bunting and my MOTM Tom Lorraine. ELJ filled in well at left-back and Finlay was alert when called upon with Pottons long ball tactics. Only Disappointment for me was again the performance of Tommy Berwick, whose shooting and ideas are quite poor at times. It may come from a high expectancy level of the player, but he really hasn't fitted in as an AFC player yet. Also with such a young bench today, I think we may have seen the last of Turner and Dunkley. You would have thought they would have been involved today. But all in all a great end to a successful double winning season!

Fully deserved 3-0 victory, I think our superiority showed in the end.

Man of the match for me was Confue, just a shame we had useless pillock reffing the game!!!

Special mention has to go to the Potton keeper who, I thought had a decent game, apart from the three he conceeded!
