What a turn-a-round

Post by wynocki »

I'm still pinching myself at our current and glorious league position.

Mid season we were much better as a club, mid-table and with 'next season' ambitions (the fans anyway). Only a dozen or so games ago we were posting on here hopeful thoughts of 'can we make the play offs?'
Now it seems, dare i say this......we've all but nailed a spot in the play offs and heavily gunning down p*xford for 3rd.

Can someone give me a good kick so i wake up?

Tbh, looking at the table midtable and given at the time that if we won our games in hand on Mansfield and Wimbledon, we'd be fifth, with at least 8th looking like our final position, I thought we could have had crack at that point in the season, I just didn't expect it to go as well as it has (hopefully we keep our heads and finish the job off so it is secure mathematically, but I thought we'd still be battling it out for fifth in an ideal world).
