Yeah, obviously those teams aren't quite Man Utd or Arsenal, but they're still very well known teams, so it's possible a draw to one of those would bring in a few more on Tuesday night. I don't think it'll be over 1000 either way however, but it'll be our best of the season surely, Tuesday night or not, I'll say 750. We're just about guaranteed to play in front of a 1000+ crowd in the First Round if we win, home or away I think.Rushdenjim wrote:I think Oundle was suggesting if we drew one of the aforementioned teams tonight it would bring in a few more people on Tuesday night.corby diamond wrote:I should imagine so as they would all bring a sizable away following.. Has the club thought ahead as to ground issues should home to Northampton, Luton or dare I say millwall be drawn? It would be impossible to segregate surely but 2 clubs hate us and the 3rd, well........ :lol:Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:If we draw Sheffield United/Wigan/Millwall/Northampton/Peterborough tonight, I'd back us to get 1000.
We know what a good side they are from Saturday, but it's a brilliant opportunity, what impact that goal will have on both teams remains to be seen, but I get the feeling it'll work in our favour, conceding that late on in a game you should have won hurts.
