Right, back on-topic !! I've just signed up for a bit of work, who else is gunna get their hands dirty then? It'd be really good, after such a great season, to see some different faces helping out in the closed season. There are some reguluar volunteers who give and give, while others do nothing. The club needs some help, so how about it???

Incidentally, I don't include myself in the "regular volunteers" category, I do a little bit here and there, which is all the club are really looking for - 2 hours given up will enable you to clean 3 or 4 rows of seats - get a few doing it you can have a laugh and a natter as you go !!

Who is the brave guy that is going to volunteer to climb the ladder to clean the South Stand fascia?

I would but I'm scared of heights.

But if they hire a cherry picker then that's a different matter! ;)

I'd happily do that.

BTW Its not the height that hurts you its the floor when you hit it.

I'd flipping love to do that. Would be so satisfying!

Isn't it possible to clean it from the roof, leaning over (safety harness in place obviously)? I'd be up for giving it a go - got to have a nice shiny stadium for our first day in the Football League next season eh? ;)

What we need is a long armed Monkeyyyyy Boyyyyy - can we put the safety harness around his neck??? :D

I'd seriously be up for using a ladder, if anyone has a roof rack I can probably supply the ladder too.
