Former Players
Re: Former Players
That might be on the back of Daventry Town running out of cash and no-one has been paid. Parky has got them there to keep them playing football and keep fit until they make decisions of where to go.
Who knows, Woodford might get going again and build a team to make the challenge to get back where they used to be.

Re: Former Players
Most definitely! Particularly with Quigley gone. That said, the reasons given for him leaving were not football related so it's probably not an option.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Would anyone take Confue back? I always rated him highly.

Re: Former Players
I haven't seen Confue's name on the Daventry team list very often recently, so perhaps he is unavailable / injured. Daventry appear to be under a transfer embargo due to financial issues - whether this means they will be happy to let players like him or Nabil Shariff go I'm not sure, since they only had 11 players available for their game yesterday.

Re: Former Players
Joe Day sent off for Newport in their FA Cup replay v Blackburn. No complaint he raced out of his area and scythed down the striker.
