David Joyce Cup Final
lets get over to Corby tomorrow night and support the Under 18's . Memories of our first ever trophy.
Its going to be tough for them. They deserve and will need our support.

Stayed in tonight & watching Dover V FGR must say the "Jaff" terrace looks a little empty.

Re: David Joyce Cup Final
Made the short trip down the road to watch the game, was really impressed with what I saw from the young diamonds. Didn't see a lot from Posh but diamonds were organised, disciplined and deserved the win. Perhaps they can have a word with the first team about holding a 1-0 lead (Sorry, too soon).
Really liked the look of Pinder who was subbed off early (presumably, because he'll be playing a role tomorrow night). Saying that all of the lads represented themselves well. Have to say though how much I dislike rolling subs though. I understand it from a player development view but it makes the game seem so disorganised.
Be interesting to see what happens to the lads that graduate from the U18's this season. Guessing dual-registration with a few more sub appearances.

Re: David Joyce Cup Final
Excellent all round performance. Dominated first half and 3-0 would not have flattered us. As it was just single goal right on H/T.
Second half remained composed and defended stoutly, restricting Posh to very few chances.
MOM was captain Ben Peaks playing and looking remarkably like Jacko.

Report is now online here: http://www.afcdiamonds.com/peterborough ... -cup-final
Nice quotes from Darren about regretting leaving Ben Peaks out of the previous final.
Also, hopefully Andy keeps some of them on for next season.
