look at the 23 man squad

those players are the best ENGLISH players from our top league!
they are the ONLY ENGLISH players in our top league!!
8 or 9 of those players were in the squad no matter how their previous season had progressed

i personnally dont give a rats arse how exciting the premiership is there are too many overpaid foriegners in it!
insted of using money in football to look after our clubs outside the top flight to progress young players.

we give millions of it to these players to come over here and take the place of a young english lad and prevent him from getting first team football and therefore progressing his game.
take joe cole for instance imo a real talent.
but he hasnt played football all season.
and now hes expected to take on the worlds best players

realistly though we have won the thing once, 44 years ago, when we played all our games at wembley.
oh and a semi final in italy where we beat belgium and cameroon..just, on our way there.
we have never been as good as we think we are.

we get an unbelievable ammount of bad luck.
the media jump on every little thing to build up an insane amount of pressure.
and we put our english bulldog spirit, our pride, and hopes of a nation (and millions of pounds) in the hands of an ITALIAN!!

This is the same Capello who most fans were raving about after winning 9/10 games in qualifying, 4 bad performances and a bad world cup later and everyones on his back, some football fans can be so fickle.

I NEVER wanted Sven or Capello and I certainly didn't rave about them.

Frank scored a cracking goal though, other than that I agree whole heartedly, the premiership was the worst thing to happen to English football. In the past top flight teams would buy players from the next flight down and so forth. There are many lower league clubs that have gone tits up because ther is NO money filtering down the table.

Completely agree. Football in England is slowly dying, but as long as the top percent keep getting their paychecks nothing will change.

he did! ill give you that but thats what he should be doing.

im refering to the points where we lose possesion and insted of chasing the player heading rapidly in the direction of our goal he stands there arms in the air asking the ref for a free kick after hes waved play on
refs dont change their minds, even when they know they are in the wrong

frank lampards job is to control the midfeild he needed to stop moaning at the ref and get on with it!
