All the best Kurt, enjoyed watching you run b..... fast. Shame didn't get to see a goal celebration from you. Miss seeing your mum in Strikers, she's so proud of you, and rightly so.

Very disappointed with this, but I think it's probably for the best of both parties. He is clearly not part of Justins plans, and he will surely get regular first team football.

Well yes, I've banging on for this for ages DF.

Robinson is an excellent LB at this level and come next season we will see him back in the conference.
There must be more to this than just tactics, although beginning to think flexibility is not JE's strong point. Very disappointing.

Not looking forward to endless 4-3-3 with players who can't play it and non-entertainment - if we get into the play-offs I'll eat this post..! ;)

Looks like I'm in the minority here then - I am not especially disappointed at all.

Kurt had a reasonable period last season of maybe 4/5 months where he was a fine LB, but I thought he was pretty average during his initial loan spell and either end of last season. He has been particularly poor this season.

For me he always looks vulnerable defensively & often got very lucky. Normally the weak link of the team. Going forward he did link-up well with Tomlin last season, but still did not have a particularly good assists return. Jamie Day, although perhaps not on recent form, is a far better player IMO.

Would not expect to see him ever rise above the BSP but obviously wish him all the best though, he was still part of our fabulous play-off season :D

Agree with you Steve about this but my point is why waste J Day at LB when Robo was/is perfectly adequate there, (obviously you don't agree) ...but hey he's not coming back so we need to move on.

Perhaps with the surfeit of defenders including the new lad from Watford - Day can play up field..?

I don't think JE has ever had Day in mind as a left mid/winger. if he had we would have seen it a lot more than we have so far..

Yes Kurt had a good season last year but he was targeted in the Oxford play off matches and was a real weakeness during those games. He was both offensively and defensively not good enough, lacked any height and would probably be targeted again if any decent tactically aware manager came up against us..

Saying that if any decent tactically aware manager came up against us at the moment he would probably target the huge empty holes in much of our defense..
