This was already suggested, some time back, as a way of getting in touch with the members of the original trust, without getting into any issues of data protection to do with transfer of membership lists. i.e. they could include some details on our behalf without us having access to the list of members.Formic wrote:Am I right in thinking the "original" R&DFC Trust is going to write to all of its members regarding closing that trust? Perhaps someone might suggest to them that they include details of the AFC Trust membership in that letter? (I'm not exactly on "speaking terms" with them since their actions in April / May, otherwise I'd do it myself).

I'll look into this for you Alan and either get back to you myself, or get someone to answer the question for you. Hope all well with you and your's and the bad things haven't been too bad.Red Dragon wrote:I know this is going to sound really stupid, but I think I have already joined... the trouble is that so much has happened in our family in the last few weeks - very good and very bad things - that I can't remember if the wish was the father to the deed, or if I only intended to join... can someone in the know check out whether I m already a member or not?

Just joined!
I know I should have done it sooner but not usually being able to get to games on a Thursday due to taking the kids to their activities, I've felt a bit disconnected from the club. I'll be there this week though, it's half term :P

Just persuaded my brother to join, and my daughters partner in Australia is interested, is that allowed?! He originates from Olney, and used to come with me to Nene Park for the odd game.

No problem! There aren't any restrictions who can join. I understand we've already had a few Aussies join. The club is to be a community club and always will be, as laid out in the constitution, however fans from outside the area are welcome to join.supersub wrote:Just persuaded my brother to join, and my daughters partner in Australia is interested, is that allowed?! If you know anyone who used to come who hasn't joined up, then please let them know. I know there are people staying away until a senior side comes into being, that's fair enough, but if they do intend to come next year, they need to sign up this year. When we make a formal application to get into the National League System, one of the things that will strengthen our application will be the number of members that we have signed up. It is vital that we get as many signed up as possible.
Whilst the draw for membership #1 closes tonight, signing up does not.

I dont really want to create a new topic for this so while we are on the subject of next year, does anyone know what division of the ucl we are aiming for? Premier, 1 or 2... I work with a lad who plays for burton park, and he was asking how is it possible for a team to be going straight into the premier...Wont we be starting from the bottom and working our way up? thanks
