There is also the Kings Arms next door which is reasonable and The Courthouse which is about 100 yards further up just past the traffic lights.
Do you know if they have real ale in the Thrapston club house? If the beer on offer is the same fizzy rubbish as was available in the Bourne club house then I'll be drinking in one of the pubs mentioned above.
Im pretty sure they do, they definitely used to anyway. Im a 'fizzy rubbish' drinker ;) so its not something i look out for in all honesty.

OK thanks. The Fox appears to be a John Smiths 'fizzy rubbish' pub so I'll give that the swerve. The company running the King's Head apparently went bust last August so I'm not sure who is running it now. Isn't the Court House more of a restaurant?

Thanks Jon but I was looking to get there about 1pm park up near the ground ;) and then find a 'watering hole' nearby. Seems a shortage of decent pubs in Thrapston providing real ale. It appears the 'Masons Arms' is up for auction in Cambridge next month.

The kings arms is now a free house, again I would be lying if I said they did real but it may be worth a try. The courthouse is ok, it may be worth giving them a try. I'm pretty sure one of them will serve real ale of some description.

Note that Thrapston have advised they are planning to use their training area for parking, then direct any overflow to the Sailing Club - see details in the preview.

I've now started looking forward to this one. I'm sure that we will build on Tuesday and secure another three points.

The team selection will be interesting, it will be hard for Starms and Peaksy to make any changes from Tuesday but there are sure to be some tired legs in the squad.

Whatever they decide we can all be confident that the sixteen in the squad will be doing their utmost to get the three points. We certainly saw on Tuesday how much it meant to them and as we congratulated them as they left the pitch the pride was clear to see.

These lads are proud to be part of our club.
