No Mal, it goes up to the end of the club house. In the summer we will take down the turnstiles and build new ones by the club house, where the gap is now. Players and match officials will enter by the new gate to the right hand side of the DeBanke terrace. It should make life a lot easier for the stewards 8-) and will mean that the visiting players passengers will have to go through the turnstiles
I don't understand why someone (apparently from WTFC board) is moaning about a fence being put up it will eventually be there's, and the sooner the better if many are like him, why can't the have a committee of burger monsters?
Morning everyone Just an idea but we could maybe use the top half of the new fence for adverts.Smaller than the boards round the ground; but just as good.Maybe cheeper! which could be more afordable to some people.A selling point could be all the fans will see them home and away Or maybe some of the clip type boards( you see behind toilet doors;)these we could sell on a short time basis--coming events fixture lists etc Ok i get carried away can't help it.C.U.all Tuesday joan
Personally I would like to see any further advertising around the pitch side barrier. Does the current barrier meet with ground grading regulations for the Southern League? Just loved the excellent and I dare say very costly pitch side barrier on the new Lutterworth Athletic ground.

Maybe i'm being thick here (feasable) but if this fence it to comply with ground grading then how can a board member of WTFC be moaning as it would mean that his club currently in the Prem would be relegated for failing to comply with ground grading rules or is it the type of fencing used that has him bitching, if of course anybody is actually bitching.

Go on the UCL facebook page and see the comments for yourself. The ground grading criteria seems to only apply to new clubs regardless where they are playing.

That's not completely true. The FA are really putting pressure on leagues to get their member clubs to improve their ground facilities, mainly as a compromise for agreeing not to cut down the number of step 5 leagues. WTFC would have had to do this sooner rather than later regardless of whether or not we were groundsharing with them.
The FA are also tightening up the ground requirements for entry to the FA Cup, Trophy, Vase and Youth Cup, so it's in every clubs' best interests to get the necessary work done!
