That's better than last year when, IIRC, we were something like 25/1 to win the Vase before we had kicked a ball in anger in the competition.
Have taken that 40/1 - think it represents a very fair price. We could go out tomorrow of course, but a few fair home draws and that price will look very tasty indeed. We are more than a match for most Step 5 teams.
Just checked and we have dropped to 31/1. So come on who has been staking big to plummet the odds that much :D

5-1 win and £800 prize money. This has been a profitable month!

Another solid performances against another side that offered little in attack. The goalscoring form of Dunks and Fazel is superb currently and keep this up who knows how far we can go. Not the greatest spectacle to watch today but a job well done. Big test next Sat!

What????? A five one home win that we were in control of from the start. What more do you want, handstands on the penalty spot?

Thought we were excellent again today and still think we can still get better which is quiet frightening!! Thought Alfie was unlucky not to score today but claimed a couple of assists. Sooner or later we will hit double figures (or am I get a bit carried away) but we have hit 8, 6, 5 x2 already this season.

I think Cambridge will be in for one hell of a shock and got a feeling we might just nick it

Hopefully we can be the team that's lucky enough to get Woodford in the 1st Round!

I can sort of understand where Rudolf hucker is coming from. Hoddesdon just had no self belief, not even when they pulled back a goal. That sort of luck (the deflection) should have made them think "maybe this is going to be our day".
They lacked passion and desire. If I were their manager I would be really disappointed, maybe that is why he kept them out on the pitch after the game.

Our guys were terrific yet again..all of them., and we can only beat what is put in front of us.

Who will be our next Spartan South Midlands opponents? League leaders Hanwell Town won last night so maybe they will be sending their very best to test us!!
