Things are a bit quiet about this one. After our recent home performances again SSML Premier teams you'd have to fancy us - but equally we've struggled to get to grips with SSML teams at first sighting, albeit away from home.
I guess the team picks itself until Joe's suspension, but perhaps the choice of who is on the bench will depend whether they want Parky to get a full game in the U21s or assume that can happen on Tuesday (if we don't have a trip to Herts).

No Ben involved as he completes his FA Level 1 course with Adam, Dan and Mark

For anyone who's interested BetVictor have us at odds of 40 to win the Vase. Spennymoor are favourites at 6 and Spalding are 16, both get byes to the Second Round. I know it'll probably be the kiss of death but I'm going to back us, I really think we've got a chance to go deep in it this year.

R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

That's better than last year when, IIRC, we were something like 25/1 to win the Vase before we had kicked a ball in anger in the competition.Bob's Bitch wrote:For anyone who's interested BetVictor have us at odds of 40 to win the Vase.

Have taken that 40/1 - think it represents a very fair price. We could go out tomorrow of course, but a few fair home draws and that price will look very tasty indeed. We are more than a match for most Step 5 teams.Trek wrote:That's better than last year when, IIRC, we were something like 25/1 to win the Vase before we had kicked a ball in anger in the competition.Bob's Bitch wrote:For anyone who's interested BetVictor have us at odds of 40 to win the Vase.

All the best for the game tomorrow. I'll be suffering over here missing the live action there, whilst I check out the sand for later in the season.
