"Form goes out of the window" "Where do cupsets come from"
Sorry mate, as much as I admire your respect for the tie, I think form really WILL count in this instance.
Even if we play at 70% I still would hope we'd have enough to win this one! Sorry if we lose this one some serious questions will need to be raised about the players/management etc.
* In fact giving a team too much respect can actually be quite dangerous.

If we can't be confident about this draw then what can we be confident about? They haven't so much as drawn a game since March 2012.
Couldn't have been a better draw.

I cant believe its Woodford!! Not a team from the Spartan SM?
They lost every single league game last year and every one so far this season. At least they will get a good crowd....... If we can find the ground!. I have satnav now so should be a bit easier.
This will be the first time we have played a team from a lower level.
I am sure Starms will keep the players level headed but I am sure the fans will be getting a bit carried away.

Yeaaaaaaah! Someone at the FA's been reading my posts then.

That 40/1's starting to look rather tasty! Obviously we can't go in expecting to win and we should respect them, but come on! If they have signed new players then it'll be interesting to see their form in the next couple of weeks but I thought they were cash-strapped and couldn't afford any players hence playing the youth team? Their record speaks for itself IMO.
This might be a chance to rest a couple of players after a tough opening period.

Its not about being confident its about being complacent and i see from the views already on here that we are already completely complacent.
Yes the draw is wonderful, however its the Banana Skin game, i would rather had had a team which on paper would appear more challenging for the players than a supposed walk over.

Tongue was firmly in my cheek when I mentioned playing a second string, but I agree that we will rotate the squad for this one, obviously depending on injuries/suspensions.

There's a banana skin and there's Woodford mate. The only negative is it's away from home and who knows what the pitch/conditions will be like.
Regards complacency, Starms and the like are far too professional to have the team under-prepared. I really don't think the team will be complacent, I'm just confident we will win it.

My memory of the pitch several years ago was that it was quite awful. However, a lot may have changed since then.

Given all the bad weather we had last winter, it wasn't too bad back in February when the U18s were there - you can see it on the video of that game -

It is a draw that we all would have wished for, to give, what we would consider, a great chance of progressing into the next round. It is not a certainty, but, we all believe we have a team that will win on the day. They may strengthen their team, we may have injuries and suspensions to consider and it will be a game that will be approached with the seriousness it deserves. The team will be picked on availability and against the bottom team of UCL.1, would be expected to win. To avoid a shock, we will go out with a non-complacent attitude.
Delighted we have been given an excellent opportunity to be in the draw for the next round.
