Wether it was right or wrong to let Alfie go is debatable. What isn't is the way he was treated by the club.
based on everything in the public domain, which is far from the whole story.

Hmmmm. I think the guy himself would actually know the full story. Sweeping dust under carpets doesn't always hide the dust.

No sweeping at all, it's going to go round in circles whatever is said by whom.

He did well for us, now he's gone - players come, players go - time to move on surely? People will believe what they want to believe, I trust the manager to have made the right decision in the long term best interests of the club. Disgruntled players will always have a moan, but life goes on !!

Once again the point is missed by a country mile. Everybody is aware of players moving on, it's just life.
There is no reason to treat anybody in the way Alfie was treated by the club. The guy has a valid point but as usual nobody wants to hear anything negative about the club.
Redsnapper you are indeed correct.

Maybe no-one wants to hear something negative about the club because it's coming from you. Again :?:
No-one listened to the boy who cried wolf - maybe no-one is listening to your negative opinions because they're just reading "wolf, wolf, wolf" as usual :?:
Try throwing in the odd positive now and again for a bit of variation and you might find that people actually engage with you and talk about points that you raise.
Just a thought.

Truth hurts, yet again.
Anybody that has an honest opinion is automatically "moaning" you must be a right bundle of fxxx ing sunshine to live with.
If I have to butter up my comments so they comply with the " positive" attitude of the general concensus then I'm glad you don't engage with me.
Just saying.
Just for the record if there was anything positive worth posting I'm sure to let you know about, unfortunately............

We're 24 hours away (hopefully) from the start of the new season so let's keep this on topic please - I'm looking forward to it.
Harborough is a nice ground, plenty of parking, a friendly welcome in the clubhouse and bar so I'm hoping for a decent Diamonds turnout and top support for the lads. Here's to starting the season well

I won't be there. I'm sure that's a positive for some. ;)
